Where it is: La Madera Park

Listed by: Long Realty

The damage: $314,900

You'll love it because: This very pretty periwinkle house sits with La Madera Park right outside its front door. There are beautiful wood floors, corner windows, built-ins, and handsome updates with upgraded finishes. This is not a "flip" but a home well maintained by two single families since being built in 1950.  There is AC and swamp cooling, a newer roof and new water line to the home, and a lot of living space with a split floor plan. I love this neighborhood, near Glen and Campbell. It's a quick jaunt to UA and it's community oriented; on weekends I've seen everyone out and about at the park or working together as a big group on a yard that fronts the park.

Here comes the but: While I'm not saying its overpriced, you would have the most expensive property in this eclectic neighborhood. Not to mention no garage, no covered parking.

  1. Ann Erickson says:

I would love to know where they got the tiles they used for the walk in the front of the house. Can someone let me know?

  2. I absolutely love it! Yes pricey but the owners really did a marvelous job preserving the home! Kudos to them!
