Later, as a young wife and mother, I worked as a Secretary for the Pringle company who had a large mill in the lovely little lochside town of Kinross where we lived at the time (Gillian was born there). It was a great firm to work for, good to their workers, and we sometimes got to buy the beautiful knitwear at special staff prices. So I then I became the proud owner of a Pringle cashmere twin set and various other lovely sweaters. The cashmere, especially, lasted for years and washed like a dream. Fond memories of very well dressed and very happy days! Great article, Gillian – very proud of you as always xx
